Updatiations on the Crazy Gaysian!

So, updates on my life.  Saturday night was spent at my first Gay Campout.  And it was a party believe me.  Good Job Dustin!

But, alas, we shall avoid filling the screen with tales of drunkenness and move onto the bigger news... I am moving!  I will likely move a majority of my stuff by the first of the month to wherever I will be living in salt lake and then will be completely moved out of Happy Valley on the 7th of July.  I am most likely moving to Sugarhouse where I will rock the Sugarhouse OG for employment. =)  Shall be fun I do believe!  That is all, let's play all my U.C. residents before I leave!

Fiery Pits of Olive Garden Hell

I really sometimes do work in that which is called hell.  Let's go back to 1:00 p.m. yesterday.  A gallant, happy go lucky asian boy walks into Olive Garden Provo with a smile, a skip in his step, and a lack of a hangover (I know, surprising eh?).  He finds that the kitchen's air conditioner has broken again... oh goody.  That means that whenever you walk from the dining area back into the kitchen it's like walking instantly into a sauna.  He then proceeds to feel really bad for the cooks because he begins to sweat whenever he's in there and they stay in there all day.

Fast forward, in the typical manor young gaysian starts his shift with his 3 tables.  Provides them with the necessary means to have a very enjoyable dining experience, all tables pay and leave.  The score 0/3 on getting  a tip over 10%.  What the hell?  5 dollars on an 85 dollar ticket?  Well, needless to say he is angry.  Tries to be as happy as always and makes 1 good tip the entire time he is supposed to be there.

5:00 pm rolls around.  Manager won't phase mid servers because there are 2 holes on the closing side.  So, Sean and Lindsay agree to stay for a free dinner until 7:30 (what the manager says).  Right around the time he is supposed to leave, the computer system crashes.  Manager goes frantic, customers start getting a little angry and wanting to leave.  Both tables he has pay with cash so they can leave.  Receives another 10% tip from a smaller table, and a 15% tip from his party (which is supposed to receive 18% because it was more than 8 guests).  Needless to say when he finally got to leave at 9:30 it was THE WORST shift ever to take place for one young man at the OG.

And that my friends is why I work in hell.

As much as I love salmon, shrimp, and tiramasu, it was not worth my life to be there yesterday at all.  57 dollars in 8.5 hours... that's a joke.  That's not even half of what I made the night before in only 6 hours.

Life moves on though and I'm just so excited to go back again tonight... NOT!

Utah Tippers, grow some balls and don't come in when you can't afford a decent tip.

When you're here, you're treated like family, meaning no money.  I see no difference between O.G. and Hell.

Fierce Hot Tranny Mess of a Weekend

In the words of Dennis repeating some stupid video clip, Pride weekend was a "FIERCE HOT TRANNY MESS!"  And to top it off with another funny blip, "It's no wonder we're a misunderstood population."

The weekend was pretty entertaining to say the least.  Though we ended with a very harsh end to my 4 days of drinking.  But we'll save that for later in the post.  I started off the weekend (as in Thursday night, lol) at a house party on thursday and saw a whole bunch of my friends.  There was lots of drinking, not sure how Ian stomached it all, but it was fun.  To top the night off the cops showed up to deal with what we thought was a party, noise complaint, but which turned out to be a domestic disturbance.  The home owner and his ex lover apparently had a tiff about the party and who was invited, etc.  So everyone that was drinking (luckily all over 21) stayed for an extra hour to hour and half before leaving, oh goody.  =)

Friday night at Sound was fun, it was pretty busy and was quite happy.  The drag show took a little too long, but was entertaining.   Dennis came up on Friday and stayed all weekend, it was so nice to see him!

Saturday was the first day of the festival, not so entertaining, but we did spot some crazy hippies at the park dancing which has a video below.  Dennis and I filled our swag bags with lots of rainbowey party goodness.  It was a party.  We went to Trapp door later that night and it was SO packed!  It was like instantly walking into a sauna when we got into the club and they had the streets open and everything.  Honestly, I have never seen so many people shoved into one place, we couldn't even walk without bumping into someone on every side of you.  It was fun.

Sunday was the pride parade.  An hour and half of rainbows, drag queens, and half naked men waving flags.  It was entertaining, but we all got burned and had to stand for too long.  The festival had a lot more people there, but was not very entertaining that day.  I met some more of my friends I haven't seen in a while.  We went to Sound that night and I preceded to my 4th day of drinking. lol  I had a large mixed drink at the bar with a large shot of rum and had a pretty good time dancing around.  We went to a hotel room that a friend had rented afterwards and I had way too many pieces of fruit from jungle juice, as I was unaware that it's made with everclear (95% alcohol) and a 1/4 bottle of champaign.  Needless to say I almost threw up at the Beto's parking lot, and then actually did throw up on the side of Dennis' car on the way back to the apartment.  The next is the reason none of you should drink.  I threw up an additional 3 times while I sat in Ian's bathroom for at least an hour while the world spinned and I was sick beyond reason.

I had the worst hangover of my life the next day and had to go to work, but hey, it was still an amazing weekend.  I was excited to participate in that which scares all the conservatives.  And here are the pictures and a video clip for your enjoyment.
The definition of fierce!

BFF Dennis and I.   Notice the lovely rainbow pin =)

Cleaning adventure at Ian's where I found a hat, and a crazy shiny dress looking thing.

Hot tranny girl pants at the store which I bought =)
Mess walking on the streets in new pants.
Jared and his amazing ability to make his skinny body have boobs.
These are the hippies we saw dancing around.  Sorry I'm not very good at producing films from my phone when I am not supposed to let them know I am taping them. =)

The end of a wonderful weekend.

El orgullo en ciudad de lago salt a.k.a. Salt Lake Pride 2008

It is upon us my dear friends... my first Salt Lake City Pride, oh the anticipation, the exuberance, the pure rhapsody of it all.

Okay, that was a little melodramatic I will admit.  But one of the best parts, DENNIS IS COMING TO PLAY WITH ME!  A fun filled weekend, sans Olive Garden Hell with my BFF in the whole world!

What you say is on the agenda for this weekend (which note, is starting on a Thursday ( today! =) ), Wallyball Thursday, Pre-Party and Gossip/Sound Friday, Park Dancing and Festivities Saturday, and a Parade and after parties on Sunday!  Good times, good times indeed!  No doubt, my health will likely deteriorate from this fortunate list of events, but who really needs that anyways?

I shall be in Salt Lake for the remainder of the week, assuming I get of my a$$ and pack, so feel free to text or join me for any or all of the festivities!  Pictures, updates, and more to come as the week progresses =).

Toodles,

Smiley
